Sponsor a room
WLP chat shows no behavioural advertising and sells no data. A room is paid for by its organiser, or by one local sponsor whose tile every member can hide. Either way, the money goes to the room.
Ways a room is funded
Three options, test prices
Hypotheses for the pilot. Nothing is charged in the current build.
Direct sponsorship
£100 to £300 per room per month. Sold and approved by hand, one labelled tile on Home.
Community plan
£29 a month, paid by the organiser. The room shows the House tile and no sponsor.
Organiser Starter
Free. One room up to 100 members, with a House or demo tile.

Community hall, 18:30. Reply in the room with agenda items by Friday.
The House tile that replaces it when a member presses Hide.
The rules every sponsor accepts
One tile, one room
A sponsor funds a single room. Members of that room see one labelled tile on Home and nowhere else: no feed, no pop-up, no messages.
Chosen for the room
The organiser picks the sponsor and approves the wording. Nothing is targeted from members’ messages, an advertising ID or activity in other rooms.
Counts, not people
You receive room-level counts of tile views and taps, released only after 20 events and kept for 90 days. Never a list of members.
A clean link
Before a member leaves the app they see your exact address and a warning that opening it shares their IP and browser details with you. WLP chat strips tracking parameters and adds no identifier.
Members stay in charge
Any member can read why the tile appears, hide it for the rest of the campaign, or report it. Sponsor reports go to platform safety, not to the organiser who approved you.
Some categories never run
Gambling, adult content, political campaigns, crypto, high-risk finance and unsubstantiated medical claims never reach Home. The app shows the House tile instead.
